1. Eligibility and Age Requirements
You must be at least 13 years old to create a Laevyl account or use the Service.
Laevyl is not intended for children under 13. If we learn that an account belongs to a user under 13, we may suspend or terminate the account and take appropriate steps regarding associated personal information.
If you are under the age of majority where you live, your parent or legal guardian should review these Terms with you and must consent to your use of the Service where required by applicable law.
You may not use the Service if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.
2. Your Laevyl Account
Certain features require a Laevyl account. When creating or maintaining an account, you agree to provide accurate information and keep your account information reasonably current.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for activity occurring through your account. You may not sell, transfer, rent, or knowingly provide your account credentials to another person.
If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us promptly. We may support sign-in through third-party authentication providers, and your use of those providers may also be governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
3. What Laevyl Is
Laevyl is a fitness, lifestyle, motivation, and progression application that uses RPG-inspired systems to make real-world activities and goals more engaging.
Features may include quests, experience points, levels, attributes, achievements, titles, characters, activity-based progression, combat or PvE systems, social features, virtual items, and other progression mechanics.
Laevyl is not a medical service, healthcare provider, medical device, or substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Fitness goals, quests, activity information, progression systems, suggestions, challenges, and other content provided through Laevyl are intended for general fitness, lifestyle, motivational, and entertainment purposes.
4. Physical Activity and Safety
Some Laevyl features may encourage or reward physical activity. You are responsible for deciding whether an activity is appropriate and safe for you. Consider your physical condition, surroundings, weather, equipment, and other relevant circumstances before beginning an activity.
Do not perform an activity if doing so would be unsafe. Do not use Laevyl in a manner that distracts you while driving, operating machinery, crossing roads, or participating in any activity requiring your full attention.
If you have questions or concerns regarding your health or ability to participate in physical activity, consult an appropriate qualified healthcare professional.
Laevyl progression, rewards, streaks, quests, rankings, or other app features should never take priority over your health or physical safety.
5. Health Connect and Fitness Data
Laevyl may integrate with services such as Health Connect by Android to support activity-based functionality.
With your permission, Laevyl may access supported fitness information, such as step and distance data, when needed for relevant features or quests.
Access to Health Connect data is subject to the permissions you grant. You may manage or revoke those permissions through Health Connect or your device settings.
You are not required to grant Health Connect permissions simply to maintain a Laevyl account, although features that depend on fitness information may not function correctly without the necessary permission.
Our collection, processing, retention, and deletion of personal and fitness information are further described in the Laevyl Privacy Policy.
6. Quests, Progression, and Activity Data
Laevyl may use actions you take in the Service and, where authorized, real-world activity information to determine quest progress, experience points, achievements, rewards, character progression, or other in-app results.
Progress calculations and game systems may change as Laevyl evolves. We do not guarantee that activity measurements, quest calculations, synchronization, XP awards, rankings, streaks, combat calculations, or other progression information will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly accurate.
Technical limitations involving devices, operating systems, Health Connect, internet connectivity, third-party services, synchronization, or other systems may affect progression.
If an error occurs, we may correct inaccurate progression, rewards, balances, records, or other account data where reasonably necessary to maintain the integrity of the Service.
7. Virtual Items and In-App Progression
Laevyl may provide virtual features or content such as experience points (XP), levels and attributes, virtual currency or Gold, equipment and inventory items, loot or drops, characters or avatars, titles and achievements, skills or abilities, and other virtual rewards or progression.
Unless we expressly state otherwise, these items exist solely within Laevyl.
Virtual items and progression have no real-world monetary value, are not legal tender, are not cryptocurrency or securities, and cannot be redeemed from Stayvale for cash or other real-world monetary value.
Your access to virtual items is a limited, personal, revocable right to use features of the Service. You do not acquire ownership of Laevyl's underlying software, designs, artwork, databases, virtual-item systems, or other intellectual property.
We may adjust virtual economies, progression systems, item statistics, drop rates, combat balance, rewards, or similar mechanics when reasonably necessary to operate, balance, improve, or protect the Service.
8. Purchases and Paid Features
Laevyl may offer optional paid features, subscriptions, virtual items, or other digital content in the future.
When a purchase is offered through an app store or payment platform, the transaction may also be governed by that platform's applicable payment, billing, cancellation, and refund terms.
Before making a purchase, you will be shown the applicable price and relevant purchase terms. Unless expressly permitted by Laevyl, purchasing digital content does not give you the right to sell, transfer, exchange, or redeem that content outside the Service.
Nothing in these Terms limits any refund, cancellation, or consumer rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
9. Fair Play and Prohibited Conduct
Laevyl is built around genuine progression. You agree not to intentionally manipulate or interfere with the Service in ways that undermine its systems or other users.
You may not:
- Cheat, exploit bugs, or intentionally falsify activity or progression
- Manipulate fitness or activity data to obtain illegitimate rewards
- Use bots, scripts, automation, modified clients, or unauthorized software to manipulate Laevyl
- Attempt to bypass security, authentication, anti-cheat, rate limits, or access controls
- Access another person's account without authorization
- Interfere with servers, databases, networks, APIs, or other infrastructure
- Scrape or systematically extract Service data except where expressly permitted
- Reverse engineer or attempt to derive source code except where applicable law expressly permits it
- Use Laevyl to harass, threaten, impersonate, defraud, or harm another person
- Upload, transmit, or distribute malicious code
- Exploit the Service for unlawful purposes or help another person engage in prohibited conduct
We may investigate suspected abuse and may correct illegitimate progression, remove rewards, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to protect Laevyl and its users.
11. Intellectual Property
Laevyl and its associated software, branding, names, logos, artwork, characters, interfaces, designs, databases, systems, text, graphics, audio, and other content provided by Stayvale are owned by or licensed to Stayvale and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Subject to these Terms, Stayvale grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use Laevyl for your personal, lawful use.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of Laevyl or Stayvale intellectual property to you. Laevyl and associated branding may not be used in a way that falsely suggests endorsement, affiliation, or authorization by Stayvale.
12. Feedback
If you voluntarily provide suggestions, ideas, bug reports, feature requests, or other feedback about Laevyl, you authorize Stayvale to use that feedback to develop, improve, operate, and promote the Service without an obligation to compensate you.
This does not transfer ownership of unrelated intellectual property you already own.
13. Third-Party Services
Laevyl relies on or may integrate with third-party services, platforms, operating systems, authentication providers, infrastructure providers, and app stores.
Examples may include services used for authentication, notifications, cloud infrastructure, fitness integrations, or distribution. Your use of third-party services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies provided by those third parties.
Stayvale does not control third-party services and is not responsible for outages, changes, errors, or discontinuation caused solely by systems outside our reasonable control.
14. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information Laevyl accesses or collects, why we use it, how it may be disclosed, how long it may be retained, and the choices available to you.

Health Connect and other fitness information may qualify as sensitive information and is handled subject to applicable platform requirements and our Privacy Policy.
15. Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your Laevyl account and associated data. Information about account deletion is available at laevyl.com/account-deletion.
Deletion may be subject to limited retention where reasonably necessary or legally required, including for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal obligations, or backup and recovery processes, as further described in our Privacy Policy.
Deletion of your Laevyl account does not necessarily delete information independently maintained by third-party services, such as information maintained within Health Connect or your app-store account.
16. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using Laevyl at any time.
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to some or all of the Service if we reasonably believe that you materially violated these Terms; your account creates a security or legal risk; you engaged in fraud, abuse, cheating, or harmful conduct; continued access would violate applicable law or platform requirements; or suspension is reasonably necessary to protect Laevyl, Stayvale, or other users.
Where appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to resolve an issue, but immediate action may be necessary in serious cases involving security, fraud, abuse, or legal obligations.
17. Changes to the Service
Laevyl is an evolving product. We may add, modify, rebalance, replace, suspend, or discontinue features or portions of the Service.
This includes quests, progression systems, PvE mechanics, virtual economies, integrations, social functionality, rewards, interfaces, and other features.
We do not guarantee that any specific feature, reward, virtual item, progression mechanic, or third-party integration will remain available permanently. Where required by law, we will provide appropriate notice of material changes affecting your rights.
18. Availability of the Service
We aim to provide a reliable Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Laevyl may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical problems, third-party outages, security issues, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. We may conduct maintenance or make changes without advance notice where reasonably necessary.
19. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Laevyl is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Stayvale does not guarantee that the Service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for every user's individual goals or circumstances. Laevyl does not guarantee specific fitness, health, lifestyle, motivational, or other results.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
20. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Stayvale and its officers, members, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of or inability to use Laevyl.
Stayvale is not responsible for injury or damage caused by a user's decision to undertake an activity in an unsafe manner or environment, except to the extent liability cannot legally be excluded.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
21. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stayvale and its officers, members, employees, contractors, and agents from claims, liabilities, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Service, material violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person's rights.
This provision does not apply where prohibited by applicable law.
22. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms deprives you of mandatory protections provided by the laws applicable to you.
23. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as Laevyl evolves or as legal, regulatory, technical, or business requirements change.
When we make changes, we will update the Last Updated date. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we may provide additional notice where appropriate or required by law.
Your continued use of Laevyl after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you should stop using the Service and may request deletion of your account.
24. General Terms
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law. Our failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it later.
You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent. Stayvale may assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable law.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms expressly presented for particular features, constitute the agreement between you and Stayvale concerning your use of Laevyl.

10. Social Features
Laevyl may include social functionality such as profiles, friends, guilds, rankings, achievements, or other features that allow users to interact with or view information about other users.
Information designated as visible through a profile or social feature may be visible to other Laevyl users as described in the Service and Privacy Policy. You are responsible for your interactions with other users.
Do not use Laevyl's social functionality to harass, threaten, impersonate, exploit, or deceive others. We may introduce additional community rules or moderation tools as social functionality expands.
